In response to repeated rules violations, the company told The Hollywood Reporter that Instagram has actually taken down content from West’s account and imposed restrictions. Even if West’s account could still be seen on Sunday, it is probably temporarily blocked from publishing new content.
All of West’s recent Instagram posts are screenshots of messages, and the one that violated Instagram’s guidelines appears to have been a chat with Sean “Diddy” Combs in which he allegedly used anti-Semitic slurs and claimed that the other singer was under the authority of “the Jewish people.”
Despite the controversial artist’s most recent anti-Semitic outbursts, future Twitter owner Elon Musk jumped in to welcome West back to the social media network.
West appears to have interpreted Musk’s warm welcome as a green light, elaborating on his anti-semitic conspiracies in a tweet only twelve hours later. “I’m a bit sleepy tonight but when I wake up I’m going death [sic] con 3 On JEWISH PEOPLE,” West tweeted on Saturday night. “… You guys have toyed with me and tried to black ball anyone whoever opposes your agenda.”
Despite Musk’s endorsement, Twitter took down the message that referred to anti-Jewish stereotypes frequently expressed by white nationalists and locked West’s account “due to a violation of Twitter’s policies,” a Twitter representative told TechCrunch.Jamb Result
West caused controversy during Paris Fashion Week by introducing a new line in a pop-up warehouse exhibition that featured a shirt with the message “White Lives Matter” just before causing havoc on Instagram and Twitter.
A significant portion of the fashion industry immediately opposed West after the event and spoke out in favour of Vogue Editor Gabriella Karefa-Johnson, whom West had assaulted for calling his prank “deeply offensive, violent, and dangerous.”
