The Best Gaming Laptops for now

There are many brands that produce high end laptops specifically made for gaming purpose.

Some brands excel in mobility while some excel in performance factor but being a gaming laptop both factors are required to be kept in mind.

Laptops like alienware from Dell are the heaviest gaming laptops in the market so they pretty much fail in the mobility factor but their performance is of top grade while laptops from Razer provide good mobility but their performance do not match up to that of alienware.

People have dilemma while buying gaming laptops and end up regretting their decision in near future, so I decided to ask for a public opinion.

Over 5,000 people participated in the poll and the results are presented in the picture below.

If you check the picture above, you will rightly see the winner being the Razer Blade 14, followed by Alienware 17, ASUS ROG G751 and MSI GT80 TTitan SLI respectively.

Honestly if you have the money to buy a gaming laptop don’t buy it you can get a gaming PC that performs better than it for almost half the price.

But, if you want a gaming laptop I recommend that you get the Razer Blade 14 or the MSI GS70 Stealth if you’re looking for a gaming laptop you want to travel around with but, if you’re just going to keep your laptop and not move it around anywhere I recommend the Alienware 17 or the MSI GT80 SLI. But honestly if you have that much money to spend just buy a gaming PC and not a laptop.

I Would look at the new Alienware 17 r2 (2015) it features an intel i7-4710hq (6mb cache, 3.5ghz w/turbo boost) , 8gb of ram (stock), Nvidia GeForce GTX970M 3Gb video card (top level card) 1TB hard drive. The base price (above specs) costs $1500.

I just ordered mine from dell the other day. Although I did make some changes to the base model, which of course brought the price up. I added 16GB ram instead of 8, I think it was either $150-$200 more.

Unfortunately, the price that is sold by dell is almost higher than Amazon.

This type of laptop should be perfect for gaming (AAA Titles) without having to worry about upgrading for the next 5-7 years. And when the problem does come at some point in the future, you can always purchase a graphics amplifyer from alienware, to add tons more performance boost to you lr laptop. And that will cost you $250(current price), and then of course you have to purchase the graphics cards themselves to put inside the graphics amplifyer.

See the top 4 Gamming laptops below. I have included links to amazon store so that you can make your purchase.

1. Razer Blade 14,

2. f Alienware 17,

3. ASUS ROG G751

4 MSI GT80 TTitan

If you want to to buy a gaming laptop, I will advice that you buy from Amazon. If you are in Nigeria, you use ship your product to Nigeria Using shoptomydoor

Hope this was of help! Have a question? Ask in the comments section below.

  1. Hi there how did you order your alienware from dell directly. Did you use Paypal and how long did it take to deliver after payment. Please i’ll appreciate if you give full details.

amazon seems more expensive to me (want to get a 17 R3)
