In the latest development, domestic violence-related conversations between the couple have surfaced.

During the conversation, Bimbo raged at her husband about the effort invested in their marriage, adding that she even carried ‘ebo’ for IVD, a Yoruba word meaning’sacrifice.’
Earlier, the brother of the late Bimbo, Ikechukwu Ogbonna’s wife, stated that his family did all possible to keep Bimbo away from IK, but she kept returning to him.
In response to comments on his Instagram page, Oyindamola stated that everything began when Bimbo, then 18 years old, met Ikechukwu. According to him, she gave Ikechukwu all of her school funds and eventually quit school. He went on to say that Bimbo’s family moved her to Abuja following a series of fruitless warnings that they should cease seeing each other. However, IK phoned her and informed her that he would commit himself if she did not return. According to him, Bimbo travelled to Lagos to be with him. Oyindamola claimed that their family offered IVD money to keep away from young Bimbo at the time, but he and Bimbo continued their friendship.
