Six Kwankwaso’s Supporters Die In Accident

Six supporters of presidential candidate of the New Nigerian People’s Party (NNPP) Rabiu Kwankwaso died in an auto crash when he visited Lafia, Nasarawa State capital to commission his presidential campaign office on Saturday. THE NATION reports.

The former Kano Governor consoled with the people of Nasarawa state, families of the deceased, and the NNPP over the unfortunate incident.

Nasarawa state Governor Abdullahi Sule expressed sadness over the accident.

Sule, in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary Ibrahim Addra in Lafia described the loss of lives of citizens under such circumstances as lamentable, urging caution at all times.

He conveyed his condolences to the families and friends of the bereaved as well as the leadership of the NNPP at the state and national levels.

He prayed for the repose of the souls of the departed while wishing those injured a speedy recovery.
