Osun undergraduate commits suicide, police begin probe

According to a statement released on Sunday by the state police public relations officer, Yemisi Opalola, the teenager’s lifeless body was discovered hanging in one of the rooms of his father’s residence on Saturday.

The police were informed when the body was discovered, according to Opalola, who also added that police officers assigned to the scene of the incident recovered the body.

“Scene of the crime was visited and no mark of violence was found on the body. The corpse was deposited at the Wesley Guild Hospital, Ilesa. The case is still under investigation.”
