The NIN number is required to register for JAMB and other post secondary school examinations.

What are the Required documents for NIN Registration?

  1. Bank Verification Number
  2. Old National ID card
  3. Driver’s LicenseJAMB Result 
  4. Voter’s card
  5. Certificate of Origin
  6. Birth Certificate
  7. Nigerian International Passport
  8. Local Government identification letter
  9. Declaration of age
  10. NHIS ID card
  11. Government issued ID card
  12. Government recognized private organisation’s staff ID card
  13. Public or private school ID card
  14. Tax Clearance Certificate
  15. Valid immigration docume nts

How to Download the NIN Registration Form Online

If you are an applicant for the NIN number, then follow the procedures below to download the NIN registration form.

  1. Visit the NIN registration portal via https://nimc.gov.ng/enrolment-form/
  2. Click on the NIN icon
  3. Select NIN Enrollment form
  4. The NIN registration form will be displayed on the screen
  5. Click on the download icon to download and print the form
  6. Your NIN enrollment/registration form will be downloaded in PDF format

Note: After filling the NIN registration form, you are to visit the nearest NIMC office with the form to complete the procedure.

How to Submit the NIN Registration Form

After downloading the NIN registration, and filling the necessary details needed, the next step is to submit the form for processing. To submit the NIN registration form, follow the procedures below:

  1. If you’re filling the form online, after filling it, click on the submit icon
  2. Print out the 2D barcode displayed on the screenNpower Recruitment
  3. Take the barcode to the nearest NIMC enrollment center with the required documents to complete the procedure
  4. Upon getting there, the enrollment officer will take the form and verify your documents
  5. Your height measurements will also be taken
  6. Your biometric data will now be captured

  8. The documents you provided will then be scanned and uploaded to the NIMC portal
  9. After your details on the NIMC portal has been verified, you will be issued NIN slip as evidence of the registration.

How to Do NIMC Pre-Enrolment (Online)

The NIMC Pre-Enrolment form is available for individuals who wish to carry out their NIN registration themselves.JAMB Form

Applicants can visit the NIMC pre-enrolment portal and register for NIN online, and after the Registration, they can proceed to capture their biometric data, photoshoot, and details later to complete the procedure.

To use the NIMC pre-enrolment portal, follow the procedures below:

  1. Visit the NIMC pre-enrolment portal via https://penrol.nimc.gov.ng to access the online Enrolment Form.
  2. Fill the enrolment form with your correct details
  3. Print out the enrolment form summary sheet with a 2D barcodeWAEC Result
  4. Head to the nearest NIMC enrollment center with the summary sheet and required documents
  5. Upon getting to the centre, submit your enrollment form for verification
  6. After confirming your details on the system, your biometric data and headshot photograph will be captured
  7. Your supporting documents will then be scanned and uploaded to the NIMC portal
  8. After the scanning is complete, the enrolment is acknowledged.
  9. You will be issued two slips;JAMB Result
