A petitioner, Taiye AbdulGafar, who applied for divorce, custody and maintenance of three children, has been told by the court to exercise patience, DAILYPOST reports.informationguidenigeria
The woman, seeking divorce from Saadu AbdulGafar over lack of love, at the Area Court, Centre-Igboro, Ilorin, said on Wednesday that she was tired of the marriage and prayed that the Islamic marriage between them be dissolved.
She also urged the court to grant her custody of the three children, but the respondent should be responsible for their school fees and maintenance.
According to DAILYPOST, the respondent, however, told the court that he was still interested in the marriage and settlement was ongoing to ensure that they continued their relationship.

The presiding judge, Hammad Ajumonbi, advised the petitioner to exercise patience, saying that all marriages had their flaws and nobody had it all in their respective homes.NYSC Portal
Ajunmobi said that the petitioner should consider settlement whenever approached by the respondent and continue the marriage, once it does not affect her life and that of the children.JAMB Result
The case was adjourned until March 11 for a report of settlement.
