Gbenga Omotoso, Commissioner for Information and Strategy, stated in a statement that the Lagos state government has taken note of the happenings after Mohbad’s death.
The autopsy of late Afrobeats musician Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, known as Mohbad, was completed on Thursday night, according to the Lagos State Police Command.

Omotoso stated that the government has pleaded with anyone who may have critical information that could benefit the inquiry process to offer it to the investigative team.
He also stated that the government has asked the investigating team to ensure the anonymity and protection of all witnesses who may come forward with crucial information or indicative evidence that could aid the investigation.
The government spokesman also urged all friends and supporters of the deceased to be calm and avoid from making provocative remarks or reaching biassed inferences about the incident.NYSC Portal
The Lagos State government also expressed condolences to his family and admirers, with Omotosho stating that they are heartbroken at the loss of such a great and promising young guy who built a name for himself in a very competitive field.JAMB Portal
The Police Special Investigative Team, which has been entrusted with uncovering the death of Mohbad, has been tasked with delivering an interim report within two weeks of its establishment on Monday, September 18.
