Usman Danladi, age 21, has been detained by members of the Nasarawa State Police Command for reportedly using a machete to sever Jibrin Abdullahi’s wrist in the Auta Balefi community of the state’s Karu Local Government Area.Information Guide Nigeria
PUNCH According to Metro, Danladi allegedly committed the crime while arguing with Abdullahi, whom he accused of beating his girlfriend, Aisha.
The event was confirmed by the state police public relations officer, DSP Ramhan Nansel, in a statement on Monday.

The statement read, “On September 16, 2022, around 4pm, information was received that one Jibrin Abdullahi, 25, who hails from Kaduna State, but a resident of the Tudun Wada Area, Auta Balefi of Karu LGA, Nasarawa State, was attacked and his wrist, chopped off.
“Upon receipt of the information, police operatives attached to the Goshen City Division led by CSP Eunice Ogbadu, swiftly raced to the scene and rushed the victim to the Federal Medical Centre, Keffi, for treatment.JAMB Result
“Consequently, an intensive manhunt for the perpetrator of the dastardly act was instituted. The effort of the investigators paid off on September 17, 2022, when the prime suspect, one Usman Danladi, 21, aka Murderer, was arrested.
“Upon interrogation, the suspect confessed to the commission of the crime but claimed that the victim earlier assaulted his girlfriend, Aisha, and when he confronted him, a fight ensued and in the process, he attacked the victim with a machete.”
