The White House has announced that Israel will implement a daily four-hour halt to military activity in northern Gaza, intended to allow civilians the opportunity to evacuate the area safely.
Despite this development, President Joe Biden has expressed that a complete ceasefire is not currently anticipated.InformationGuideNigeria
The temporary pauses come as a result of diplomatic efforts by President Biden, who has been in talks with Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu. Biden has advocated for extended periods of non-engagement to relieve the tension after more than a month of conflict, which was reignited by attacks on October 7 by Hamas, an organization that is designated as a terrorist group by the United States and other countries.
