IGP will remain in office – Nigeria Police

The Nigeria Police Force has insisted that no court sacked the Inspector General of Police, IGP, Usman Alkali Baba. DAILY POST reports.

The Federal High Court in Awka, Anambra State had sacked the IGP for attaining the statutory retirement age of 60 years in March 2023.Information Guide Nigeria

However, the Force headquarters said the police boss has the right to appeal the judgment.
