The Minimal Requirements
- A minimum of a first degree or its equivalent in the field or subject you wish to examine;
- Not less than two years of teaching experience after completion of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) scheme in a Senior Secondary School.

Requirements for Eligibility
- You should have completed an application form for prospective examiners.
- Take your credentials to the nearest WAEC office for sighting along with some photocopies of the completed application form.
- All prospective candidates must be of high integrity and should be able to present a recommendation letter from his/her current employer.
- Prospective examiners intending to mark WAEC Scripts can apply online and will be disqualified if the supplied details were incorrect or fake.
