What is NIN?
The National Identification Number, commonly known as NIN, is a set of numbers that are assigned by the NIMC to an individual after the individual has completed their enrolment or registration. How to Get NYSC Uniform
The enrolment or registration for the Nin involves recording the individual’s demographic data, fingerprint capturing (10 fingerprints are needed), head-to-shoulder facial picture as well as a digital signature. All these details are then used to cross-check the database to ensure that there’s no other individual with those data before the NIN is generated and given to the individual—this check can last anywhere between 1 to 5 days.
Hence, if you recently registered and you are yet to receive yours, give it a 5-day waiting period and afterwards, your NIN will be ready for printing and collection.
