In an effort to revive the waning breakfast culture in Nigeria, the dairy products manufacturer FrieslandCampina WAMCO Nigeria Plc launched its breakfast campaign in Lagos lately.Information Guide Nigeria
The Senior Brand Manager of Peak Milk, Moninnuola Kassim, stated in a press release that breakfast culture in the United States was on a downhill spiral due to “practical factors, such as the current economic situation and the rising cost of living.” However, studies have shown that skipping breakfast might be detrimental.
Kassim stated that to help Nigerians understand the importance of breakfast, the dairy brand and flagship product of FrieslandCampina WAMCO, Peak Milk, devised a nationwide education and fun campaign known as the ‘Peak Breakfast Café’ The campaign aimed to promote healthy eating habits, quality dairy nutrition, and revive Nigeria’s declining breakfast culture.NYSC portal
