Ethiopian Airlines, one of Africa’s leading air carriers, has made a groundbreaking move in the aviation industry by placing a substantial order for Boeing aircraft. “The commitment positions Ethiopian Airlines to strengthen and diversify its fleet, currently comprising over 80 Boeing jets. The new 737 MAX order will be posted on Boeing’s Orders and Deliveries website upon finalization,” it added.
It further stated that Boeing and Ethiopian Airlines would collaborate on cabin modification services for existing 787 Dreamliners, enhancing passenger experience with advanced in-flight entertainment and new seats in all cabins, including lie-flat business-class seats from Boeing’s joint venture Adient Aerospace.
