The Department of State Security (DSS) has arrested Fildausi Musa Ahamadu, a 23-year-old lady who threatened suicide bomb against Justices of the Kano State Election Petition Tribunal and Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna, candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), over the tribunal judgement, which sacked Governor Abba Yusuf as Governor of Kano State. THEWILL recalls that a three-member panel of the Election Petition Tribunal, led by Justice Oluyemi Akintan-Osadebay, had on Wednesday, September 20, nullified the election victory of Governor Yusuf of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) and declared Gawuna winner of the March 18 gubernatorial election in Kano State.

The 23-year-old Fildausi also warned Gawuna of the APC, saying, “You dare not indicate your location, otherwise, I don’t mind striking you with bomb vest to commit suicide.”

A DSS source, who confirmed the arrest of Fildausi, said she would be arraigned in court.
“We are indeed taking Fildausi Musa Ahamadu to Court because these threats should not be played with,” the source said.
