Davido pays tribute to Wizkid’s late mum at Afronation festival

David Adeleke, nicknamed Davido, interrupted his performance at the Afronation festival in Detroit, United States, on Sunday, to pay tribute to Mrs. Jane Dolapo Balogun, the mother of his colleague, Wizkid, who died on Friday, August 18, 2023.JAMB Portal

Davido said he was no stranger to loss, emphasising that he had lost many loved ones, including his mother, Mrs. Veronica Adekunle, who died many years ago.InformationGuideNigeria

He did, however, say that Wizkid made his mother pleased with his musical successes before she died.
