Call To Bar: Ex-Minister Amaechi Joins First Class, 888 Candidates Fail Exam

Chief Rotimi Amaechi, Former Governor of Rivers State and former Minister of Transportation, was recently admitted to the bar in the class of 2024 after completing his law studies at Baze University in Abuja.NYSC Portal

PUNCH reports that the Nigerian Bar Association conducted a final bar examination in November 2023, where out of 5,300 candidates, 4,412 passed while 888 did not.

Prof. Isa Hayatu Chiroma, the Director-General of the Nigerian Law School, revealed this information during the Call to Bar event in Abuja on Tuesday, March 5.JAMB Result

He said that 4,412 individuals who passed the November 2023 Bar Final exams and 14 candidates from previous exams were admitted to the bar.JAMB Portal

He said: “The Nigerian Law School is proudly happy to report that a total number of 251 candidates bagged first class grade in the last Bar final examination.
