The Borno government says the retirement age for health workers in the state has been extended from 35-40 years in service or 65 years of birth. THE CABLE reports.Information Guide Nigeria
In a statement seen by TheCable and addressed to all local government chairmen, Ibrahim Sheriff, director of primary health care, said the extension was effective from January 1, 2022.
“The Borno state executive governor, his excellency, Babagana Umara Zulum, min, FNSE, CON, has approved the extension of years of service from 35-40 years in service or 65 years of birth, with effect from 1st January, 2022,” the statement reads.JAMB Result

“Kindly bring to the notice of all the health workers i.e. those that are clinical-based health workers working with your primary health care department in your respective local government area.
“Accordingly, all those who might have retired on or after 1st January 2022, are enjoined to come back to service willingly.NYSC Portal
