This was revealed to reporters in Bauchi by the State Head of Civil Service, Alhaji Yahuza Adamu Haruna, adding that the approval followed the lifting of embargo of employment into the state civil service by Governor Mohammed in his inaugural address on May 29.
The Head of Service disclosed that of the 1,684 to be employed, a total of 1,000 teachers for English Language, mathematics, biology, chemistry, physics and ICT were approved to be employed.

Alhaji Adamu added that 150 staff are to be employed for the Aminu Saleh College of Education, Azare, while 206 extension workers and farm managers are to be employed in the state Ministry of Agriculture in fulfillment of the Governor’s promise during the launch of the 2023 farming season and sales of fertilizer in Azare.
He then commended the Governor for giving the approval, which he said would not only make the needed manpower in relevant sectors available, but also enhance the state’s economic status.
Adamu, however, warned applicants to be careful of fraudsters and assured that the recruitment process would be monitored by the government and security agents in order to identify those that may capitalise on it to defraud unsuspecting applicants.NYSC Portal
