Acting Governor of Ondo State, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, presented a budget proposal of N384.533 billion for the year 2024 to the State House of Assembly on Thursday evening. Aiyedatiwa noted that this budget proposal for 2024 exceeds the total projected budget for the 2023 fiscal year, which initially stood at N275.979 billion. However, due to the economic challenges faced by the country, including the impact of the removal of fuel subsidy, the 2023 budget was revised upward to N313.144 billion.

The acting governor highlighted that the 2024 budget was prepared in line with the projections of the 2024–2026 Medium-Term Expenditure Framework (MTEF) and adheres to the Ondo State Fiscal Responsibility Law of 2017.JAMB Result
