See the full list of airports in Nigeria. All the airports established in Nigeria are operated by the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN).

They are about 27 of them classified as major airports in Nigeria, these are both the international airports and  domestic airports.

Apart from those mentioned above,, there are a number of other airfields and airstrips spread across Nigeria, and are used by either civilian or the military use.

International Airports in Nigeria

All International airports in Nigeria offered customs and also immigration facilities for every passenger, who travels between countries.

The airports are usually recognized by their larger and longer runways including other airports facilities for the purpose of accommodating heavier aircrafts that engaged in international travel.

Although these airports served as international airports, they also made provision for domestic flight services. International airports in Nigeria, at present  are about 5 of them in number. They are listed below:

An airstrip is said to be a small landing field for craft perhaps, small in size, and airstrips usually have just a runway and other basic facilities. In Nigeria, there are numerous airstrips, and these are:

  3. Bacita Airstrip in Kwara state and
