The Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike on Wednesday asked for respect from his party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
It was reported that according to Governor, the governors of Benue, Oyo and Abia states, Samuel Ortom, Seyi Makinde, and Okezie Ikpeazu respectively, deserve respect because they have executed projects towards campaigns for the 2023 general elections.

“All this period of commissioning, the only states you can see commissioning something or flagging off, are those states they said the boys, the children are in charge,” Wike said, in an apparent jibe at Iyorchia Ayu, the national chairman of the PDP. jamb results
“That is why the party should respect us, and know that we are the ones campaigning, because we have what to use to campaign.
“It is not to abuse people on the pages of newspaper, or go to television to bring people who have some mental problem to defend what cannot be defended.
“Some of them cannot look at us to our faces.”
