Former President Goodluck Jonathan has backed Atiku Abubakar and Ifeanyi Okowa of the Peoples Democratic Party for the roles of President and Vice President, respectively, in the upcoming 2023 elections.
This was revealed by Jonathan when a PDP team led by Okowa and Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed visited him in Abuja on Wednesday evening.Infomation Guide Nigeria
In a video that went viral on social media, Jonathan referred to Delta State Governor Okowa as the incoming Vice President of Nigeria.

He said that he was eager and ready to support and work for the success of the PDP in the 2023 elections, and he wished the party members luck in all their endeavours, “especially those who want to represent us beginning next year (2023).”
Jonathan referred to Okowa as “our incoming Vice President” by raising his hand.
Governor Okowa, for his part, stated that it was essential to seek President Jonathan’s support, and that, with his endorsement, the party was prepared to win in February.Jamb Result
